Trip Report: Sparta-Q III Rib Cook-Off, October 31, 2015

The Sparta-Q Rib Cook-Off is a fundraiser for the San Jose State University softball development fund. The third installment of this ribs-only event was held on Halloween, October 31, and I had the pleasure of judging. It also included a dessert competition, which I did not judge, but I was able to snag a sample or two to taste.

Here are some photos I took at the event. Hope you enjoy them. And just a note about the rib photos...since this was not a KCBS-sanctioned contest and had semi-open judging, we were allowed to photograph the judges area, the judges sampling ribs, and the rib entries.
