Here's an opportunity for California folks to attend a good competition BBQ class!

During this two-day techniques class, instructors will be covering: meat selection, trimming, injections, rubs, sauces, and box building for all four KCBS meats (chicken, ribs, pork, brisket).

Class will start at 1pm on Saturday to about 9pm and will continue at 7am Sunday and conclude around 4pm Sunday afternoon.

Instructors for the class are: Jeff Pollock from My Smokin Grillfriend doing chicken (on the WSM), Ryan Moore from Knock Ur Sox Off BBQ teaching ribs, Ray Porter from Porterhouse BBQ showing pork, and Ed Williams from Thank The Lard BBQ teaching brisket. They represent 11 Grand Championships, 11 Reserve Grand Championships, 4 perfect 180 scores, 4 700+ point club, and hundreds of top 10 calls.

Cost is $350 per person ($325 for CBBQA members). With purchase of a $350/$325 ticket, a spouse may attend for an additional $150.

Limited to 24 seats, so act fast!

Thank you for sharing this information Chris.

Since the Class Flyer was created and first posted, My Smokin' Grillfriend has another RGC, and Knock UR Sox Off has another GC (with 700+). The instructors are established winners, at the top of their game !!

Thanks for posting Chris!

There's only 9 seats left for the class. Don't forget, prime rib dinner donated by Double R Ranch (sister brand of SRF)
