Hi there Pitmasters! I'm a newbie at both this forum and making chili. I threw down on Smoke Day and again on Tuesday using a new 7qt cast iron pot. I smoked the ground beef/half an onion/two jalapenos in advance with applewood, then cooked everything with the lid on for a few hours. Decent stuff; definitely workable!
