outside looks great, how's the inside? So they still had the daisy wheel kettle vents in 1980? They must have switched shortly there after, because it was 81 or 82 that I got my first kettle (and then gave away 10 years later) it had the current vents
 
it has large tab daisy wheels. i have not cleaned the bowl out the inside yet but i imagine it's in as nice of shape as the outside. it was not used a ton.

As much as I would love to have it, and the price is better than right, I am trying hard not to become a Weber collector, and instead just a Weber user.
 
yeah i thought i had it priced to fly. no big deal.

i was trying not to be a collector as well, but i guess you gotta have at least one blackie, and this is a nice one. :D

i put it in storage but if someone has to have it just speak up.

If i lived closer to Greg, I'd buy that in a heart beat & would have all ready been using it... Doesn't get any better than the old dasiy wheels take that over a one touch anyday.
