G Greg Y TVWBB Pro Sep 16, 2014 #3 Like Tom said, verify it with another thermometer, the factory ones are not great. Is the flame big? If so, you probably need a new regulator. This is assuming that nobody has drilled the orifices in your grill before you got it.

J Justin R New member Sep 17, 2014 #4 Both my Maverick and lid thermometer read about the same. The flame on the burners seem to be normal.
