Ok all...getting ready to start with the restore and had a few quick questions.
1. Before I start cleaning the grill...is it smart to pre soak it with a cleaning agent like simple green or is this not recommended. How long should it soak before powerwash? Is simple green best for this or something different?
2. What grit sandpaper should i get to sand down the frame and outside firebox before paint? What kind of paint works best for everyone? I know a high temp paint, just didn't know if one worked better than the other.
3. When restoring the luster to the actual lid...what is the best way of doing this? Just a wax, or what?
