Rasp Pi connecting to an Apple Time Capsule WiFi Router

My Heatermeter 4.1 built (thanks to all the thread posters out there). I use an Apple Time Capsule as my WiFi router. The Rpi doesn't seem to want to connect via WiFi.......Any thoughts?
 
Rob,

My first guess is that your Time Capsule is configured to use 5Ghz WiFi, and the USB WiFi adapter for the RasPi will only work on 2.4Ghz
 
Hi Steve,

I'm actually having more problems with the initial setup to get it on my WiFi network. I plug in with wired ethernet, I can ping the Rpi but can't pull up Linkmeter in a web browser, Mac or PC.
 
Never mind. I took a deep breath and went back to basics. I unplugged everything in my house that might grab an IP address. Now I can connect to the Rpi and the Heatermeter BBQ control page.
