New Blue Performer at Crate and Barrel

And they are charging the Platinum price. Description does not say anything about the gas assist.

One of the pics appear to show an igniter entering the bowl. Check the one with the close up of the chimney starter.

Here's the pics I managed to get. There was not enough room in the store to get anything decent and the lighting was messing with my camera phone.

Camera flash off

It has a little speckling that I could not pick up with my camera phone. It looks exactly like my Dark Blue OTG here:

They also had a bunch of the mini chimneys on the shelf.

I don't own a blue so I am not as familiar with the color in person, Troy does it look to you like it is the same grill then?

I've been getting a bunch of PMs about the pics I took at the Annapolis C&B. The best I can describe the color is lighter than navy blue and darker than royal blue. I can see a hint of purple. The kettle looks different in different types of lighting. I cannot tell anyone what pic best describes the color since all monitors are adjusted differently. What I did today was buy a can of Pepsi(yuck!), drove back to C&B and took pics of the can next to the kettle. This should give you an accurate example of the color.

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but I had a question about the grill in this topic. Are all of them "deluxes" in that it has the gas assist?
I'm trolling craigslist and I see one without the tank, but wasn't sure if it had the assist. Obv I could go see it, but the owner doesn't know.

There were pre-2014 versions of this same color sold by Weber through Ace Hardware, TruValue, etc. If you see one without a tank, it's possibly one of those. I have a blue 2012 with the tank, but without a timer. The color is the same as the 2015+ Dark Blue as it's called by Weber.

Chris>> it doesn't look like it has the gas assist, but some add a 20Lb gas can and that will look like this.

I was C&B yesterday buying new dinner plates and rock glasses , noticed the Cobalt Blue Weber Performer.... Beautiful

Wanted ...1995 Cobalt Blue Bowl for a SS performer, I have a new lid, but need a somewhat good condition bowl.

Thanks in advance....

Any idea on this one? They say one year old...... but who knows

That's not a year old. Mine is a 2012 and looks just like that. A year old would have a timer, taco handle, different wheels, battery ignition, and the new style ash catcher and lid bale. That grill was $329 new FWIW.

Here's my 2012 AU Code Performer Touch-N-Go right after I did it's restore. The bowl is a 2015+ replacement direct from Weber. It's labeled as "dark blue" and is the same as the C&B Blue. Sorry for the quad pic. It's the only one I have right now.
