Maribel left on a business trip to Mississippi early this Sunday morning. The kids and I are left alone for a whole week. :cool: We were told not to destroy the house and to behave :eek:

On Saturday night we made beef ribs. It was a beautiful day and enjoyed a few drinks and boxing.

Ribs seasoned with salt,pepper,onion and garlic powder.

Smoked with oak and peach chunks.

Smoked them @275 for 3 hours then wrapped in foil with coca cola for another 1 hour and 30 min. The put on the smoker for another 45 min. No water in the pan.

Looks good Tony! I suggest you eat BEFORE the boys game. It's not going to be pretty, you may not have an appetite.

From the looks of those ribs, I think her babies are gonna do well while she's away.

SWMBO has been gone since Weds. She gets back Tues. I've been cooking and brewin, as well as hangin with my sons, my daughter and grand babies.

Look perfect Tony, better not let Maribel see these pics unless you have an even better cook planned for her. Well done buddy.
 
Nice Tony!! Beef ribs look spectacular!! So what the heck are ya going to eat with Maribel out of town? We know she is the mastermind behind your cooking!! (Kidding buddy I am sure you will do just fine!!) I see your no beer durning the week rule being broken a few times though!!
