We went to Smokin' Guns in North KC this weekend. We are from Minneapolis and went down to KC for an Irish Dance competition. I did quite a bit of research and this seemed like the place to go for several reasons. I saw them featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The food was good, but not spectacular. The Burnt Ends were awesome and the BBQ Beans were very good. Pulled pork was good, but not outstasnding. Brisket was not great. Brisket was dry, sliced thin like overcooked roast beef. I wouldn't recommend ordering the brisket. All in all, we had fun and the BBQ was better than most places in MN.
