This is a amateur backyard competition for all those who have a passion for BBQ and would like to show off your skills or get ready for the real deal at an official KCBS competition. The event categories will include Chicken, Ribs, Sauce, Hot Links and anything but. The judging will be KCBS style and KCBS certified judges are giving live feedback on all the turn-ins. It's a great way to figure out EXACTLY where you stand and get an opinion from a certified judge for a mere $25 entry fee."

Hey Bob! Missed you in Vista. We did okay (12th in pork was our best finish), but we still need a ways to go to be in Jerry's class. He's been knocking on the door hard the last 3 comps to get another GC this year!

Hi Steve,
Left right after they let us loose. Originally planned to stay but headed home to congratulate my wife. She had just finished 2nd in her age division in triathlon, next door at Camp Pendleton !

A Big Congratulations on your great showing. Given the teams that were there, 12th is Excellent !

Jerry is having a Wonderful Year !!! Second year in a row. Matt will be hard to beat, but I rather think Jerry can do it. Wouldn't it be great if that happened at HB !!!
