A tip for those who want to install a Thermister for ambient temps

I got me HM fully up and running today but couldn't figure out why my ambient temp was almost 30 degrees F high after putting in the correct coefficients. It was baffling me until I realized that my HM had been on for about 25 minutes with me trying to get it connected to my WiFi network. I finally figured out that it was the display backlight that had heated up the thermister. When I mounted my thermister, I soldered it with fairly short leads which after fitting in the case was only about 1/4" from my display. My display was pretty warm to the tough. I turned the HM off and waited about 5 minutes and then turned it back on again. After letting it cool completely, I turned it back on and it read the same as the other probes.

Edit: The tip would be to mount it with longer leads and bend it away from the display as far as possible.
