Another Smoke Day Come And Gone

Well,another Smoke Day has come and gone! I got things started on saturday night with an 8 pound butt,seasoned with a combination of Bad Byron's Butt Rub and Weber Sweet and Tangy Barbeque rub.

I started with a full load of K and several chunks of hickory,and used the MM to get it going. Here's a shot of it sunday morning. The shot includes my new SS lower grate,which performed GREAT!

About 10 this morning,I put on a 4 pound brisket flat.seasoned with S Raichlens coffee rub. I also added some more coal and wood chunks.

Then at noon,I put some St.Louis on the upper grate. These were done using the ROTW from Weber,sweet and smoky ribs with tequila sauce.

I had to roll them to get them to fit,but man did they taste good!
I took the butt off about 3 and replaced it with some baked beans. Unfortunately,I didn't get any more pics. But we also had some grilled corn and macaroni salad. EVERYONE got stuffed and there were leftover for everyone to take home!
