Thank you Kevin for joining with us to give some insight into yourself and the vision that is Weber.

Never an evening passes that at sometime during our television viewing, a glimpse of the King of Backyard Grilling, the Weber Grill, appears. It is a sight that we all love and admire. What seems to be absent in that sight is the King of Backyard Smokers, the Weber Smokey Mountain.

In California we are seeing an exponential growth of interest in everything BBQ. From the backyarder to the professional BBQ teams, the Weber Smokey Mountain has and continues to play an important role in that growth.

From a marketing standpoint, what is Weber’s plan for increased visibility of the Weber Smokey Mountain ?

Bob,
Great question. We definitely want to see the SMC grow in popularity and we support it in many ways, including just last year we published Webers Smoke-a guide to smoke cooking. We continue to listen to our consumers and will continue to develop products they want and need.
