Sear or reverse sear - any preference??

I asked Jamie Purviance this one when he Q&A'd on the Weber UK facebook page last month...so here it is for you too...

Are you a fan of the Reverse Sear? or do you prefer the 'old school' way of grilling steaks???

Chris,
I am a fan of any searing period. I have experience using both methods and the jury is still out. What I will tell you is that the greatest steak I have ever grilled, which by the way was the closest to perfection I have ever done utilized the reverse sear.

Looks like I have a lot more testing to do!!
