Question about the button vs the schematic

I finished building my second attempt at the heatermeter project and everything is powered up and working great.

I do have one small issue though. I have a different case than the 3d printed case most are using so I had to get creative with my button mount and run wire from the button to the pcb. The button works properly except for the back button. I looked at the schematic and it looks like the back button is number two on the schematic. If i read the data sheet for the button correctly number two on the button should be the middle contact on the left side from the top. Is this correct?

That is correct. The pin layout is the same as it is in the schematic. Check the 4.7k resistor R11 maybe. Also you can put a multimeter on that pin 2 and it should read 3.3V when the button isn't pressed and 0.58V when it is.
