How do I post pictures from my computer?

I'm trying to post a few pics of my new WSM and can't figure out how to do it.

Edit: I think I found the answer- this site does not host pics so I need to link to a url like flickr or something, is that correct?

Yes, I'd say that is the easiest. I've been using Photobucket for years, so I can't comment on Picasa, Flickr, etc.
Use the IMG code and you should be good-to-go. (just make sure they're sized ok so the screen isn't bloated)

Have you read this in the FAQ section?

If using Flickr it takes a little bit of manipulating. You need to use the share options under a photo, take the HTML code, and then just remove all but the actual photo URL, which you put between the standard [img] tags here on the board.

At least that's how I've always done it.

It took me a while but instructions for sharing Flickr photos are here - http://www.flickr.com/help/sharing/

They are more stringent on making photos easily sharable because they want anyone who views pictures from their site to know that it came from them.

I use Flickr, Picassa and Photobucket. I never did get the hang out of using codes till someone on here showed an easier way. Right click on the photo and pic the size you want. Right click again and copy " copy image location" Paste that in the Insert image icon at the top. Like this.

Testing again for Flickr - so basically just get rid of everything except the http://farmetc.etc.etc/numbers/numbers/numbers.jpg and make sure the /IMG brackets are on the end.

I just tried another setting that makes posting pics a little easier - click on Forum Actions, select General Settings:

Then Select the WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get)

and then you can go to a pic that's hosted online, right click it, select copy picture or whatever, & paste it in your message.

it saves an easy step so not a real big deal.
