Some basic ingredients:

Chopped up the celery and onion, sauteed them until slightly translucent, added them to the stuffing mix along with the butter and water as per the instructions on the Stovetop Stuffing box. Combined the ground turkey, turkey sausage and some seasoning salt, and placed it in a 2 gallon zip lock bag, and got it to an even thickness.

Sliced the left and right side of the bag so it could be opened lengthwise. Topped the turkey with the stuffing and rolled it up:

Placed it on a rack/pan, a bit of water in the pan so drippings don't burn, and cooked it indirect on the kettle for 1.6 hours at approx. 300 degrees:

Oh man excellent idea! I have been trying to figure out a good excuse to make a fattie (diet police are watching) thinking this is it!!! Super idea!!! Love it!

Andy, Great idea! I'm thinking add some re-hydrated dried cranberries to the layers and Thanksgiving is done!

At work we do a Thanksgiving in June thing and I think your idea will come in quite handy this June. We have some Turkey-a-holics around there and figured why wait until Nov/Dec for Turkey. You have a great idea there and your fattie looks yummo!
