Weber moving away from 304 stainless, using lower grade now??

I saw a thread on another board that discussed Weber moving away from 304 stainless and using possibly 403 (403 has chromium for stain resistance but no nickel).

I was in Ontario Gas BBQ today and asked the sales reps there, they have heard this as well and have questioned Weber with no reply yet?

Anyone else heard of this?
