cold smoked cheese and butter

I did a search but but came up empty. Anyone here ever smoke cheese or butter? I will be using the Pro Q cold smoker and am wondering about approximate time to smoke these items?

Smoking cheese (or butter) is not difficult, but it means very low temps. There are several way to achieve and maintain low temps, but Chris has a good step-by-step posted here.

Butter is done the same way - but keep temps nicely below 90?.

As Chris note in his tutorial, smoke flavor comes on quick. He suggests starting at 30-60 min for your first go, then seeing what you think. I concur. Butter: 20-30 min.

I don't smoke butter (I just soften my usual unsalted butter and work in either smoked salt and/or smoked paprika, depending on what I'm going for, then form and re-chill it), but I do smoke cheese.
