Honey-Balsamic Glaze

S. Raichlen's:

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce

Boil over medium heat, simmer till thick and syrupy reduced to 1/2 cup, about 6-8 minutes.

I think it takes more like 10+ minutes
I substituted splenda for sugar
Also added a pinch of ginger

This was fabulous on pork tenderloins!!!!
 
other versions....

sub worcestershire for soy

add ginger

add cayenne or other hot pepper

my guys love this glaze-wonderful on pork tenderloin
