    Smoked 3 small chuck roasts With SPOG , mix of apple and hickory... Smoker ran hot whole time about 300... Pulled after about 4 hrs IT about 160... Put into oven 325 for about 2 1-2 hours on bed of veggies with 1/2 bottle Guinness, beef broth and worchestshire .... Made this for a friends sons...

    Fill the Freezer

    The wife and I do this 2-3 times a year... Some on the smoker, most in the kitchen 2 lasagnas, 2 meatloafs, 10 lbs ground meat browned up and frozen into 6 bags, 8 Stromboliz, 5 dozen meatballs, 24 lb pulled pork will be frozen into meal size bags, threw on some rib tips and beans, 10 lbs...

    Advice/input needed

    I have 2 (4-5 lb ) sirloin tip roasts already in freezer...don't wanna spend $ on a chuck unless necessary... Do Yinz think sirloin roast is too lean to try as a substitute for the chuck for imitation burnt ends?? Gonna follow this recipe
