    FYI….Jealous Devil on clearance

Found 10# box of Jealous Devil large charcoal briquettes on clearance at Acadamy. In store only. 2.99 for 10# box. They said the boxes come unglued and JD is changing the packaging. I bought 8 boxes for $24.00, all they had. Good luck

Weber E6 Kamado….ArborFab charcoal basket for the win!

Just got my custom ArborFab WSM charcoal grate. Ordered a basket 15” 3/8 x 5” tall and it fits perfect! This will work quite nicely. I believe my upgrades are complete for the moment. Will be using ceramic half moons for heat deflectors when needed (don’t really care for the Weber diffuser...

    Performer burger night….

Did some burgers on the Performer. Got the meat from a small butcher (about 45 minutes away), added habanero jack cheese with Havarti cheese (in the burger). Has to be medium to not be too gooey. Tasted good, wife liked them. All you can ask for.

Who Dey Saturday (Go Bengals) and new accessory for Kamado Summit

Combo post…. Doing St. Louis style ribs (from Butcher Box) for the game today…..temp is hovering around 24 degrees. So I don’t like the open bottom or nature of the lower grate for placing charcoal (I know, they have the flimsy charcoal baskets supplied-I actually have about three brand new...

    Weber June oven…..ever seen this?

Weber bought this company last year…..and we thought the E6 and Smokefire were pricey. Does look like it does some really cool stuff, but not paying that price for a countertop oven just for chicken fingers LOL. https://juneoven.com/pages/smart-oven

    Free cookbook with Summit Kamado

    Game Day Grill On!

Ok, prepping for the Bengals vs Chef’s today (think Snickers commercial). Today’s cook (one of my wife’s and my favorites) is Buffalo Chicken Balls. I cook at 350-400 for about 20 minutes, then coat with sauce and put back on grill for 5 or so minutes. I like to get the internal temp up...

    Prep/serve cart question…

So I am adding a prep cart for the new Summit E6 (will be delivered tomorrow!). I would like some type of ‘covered’ (drawers/door) prep/serve storage cart and I saw this one from Blackstone. Its called the Original Prep/Serve and store cart. Was at Walmart (for order) for $247.00. Anyone use...

    Butcher Box

So a friend let me try some stuff from their butcher box subscription…pretty good stuff. Now we hooked and order from there. No good butcher shops that I have found locally…Most don’t know how to cut/trim and their prices about the same as BB. The BB steaks all grass fed and amazing. Bacon...

    Just ordered summit kamado

Ok…good day to order a new grill. Just order the E6 from Weber site. Woohoo! Now have to order wifey a tennis bracelet. Lol. Life is good. She was on board. Beer is such a lubricant. Anyway, back to the bar. Got to love mobile app to order. It’s dangerous

    E6 with cart or not?

Another 800.00 price point question. I understand the value of a cart on the grill. I have three performers and a large BGE in a Challenger cart (dual cabinets). Always great to have the carts/tables attached. But, I am deciding on either the E6 with just the legs or just go for the cart. I...

    Summit E6 cooking grate options

I currently have 3 dedicated Weber performers (one in Vortex mode, one in SNS mode and one in rotisserie mode. Also have large BGE in challenger table. I’m looking to add a Weber Summit Kamado but have a question about possible replacement cooking grids. I LOVE the BGE eggspander 5 piece set...
