Has anyone been able to source parts? my meter i built years ago has seen better days, and i woud like to get a new ont built nefore this one completely craps out.

I had the same issue. insead of buying a new one, i had a few Pi Zero W's laying around so i put that on and have been running good ever since.

I replaced my rPi b with wifi dongle with a pi0W and never lost connection. Im going to do another run soon to confirm.

The spare ZeroW I have already has the full allotment of pins. From which end do I start removing pins to get to the 26 needed for the HM?

Hey ralph, where can i source the switch that goes on the heatermeter? you included one when i got a printed box from you, i think my is going out. I would like to replace it.

I ran my HM without pitdroid this weekend and it till timed out. I think it has to do with my RPi.

yea im my run last night it did over shoot but it came back down relatively quick and steadied out fast. Looks like i was worrying about nothing. but i think i still might only put the damper on after the temp has naturally risen to 200+.

When starting up your pit for a long cook it is no where near your set temp. Has anyone seen any issues with the fan and damper running 100% as it ramps up causeing a big bed of coals forming that would expell too much heat at first? Or does the damper shutting off the air flow not allow...

how much did it cost? on that site it is 22.57 using PETG or 20.68 using PLA. and thats with both fan housings.

With a lot of help from Ralph, I have tested a lot of things. Im thinking it might be a bad IC. And they are out of stock to test that. I'm thinking that because I took this on off of an old RDTC board I had from years back I could never get to work.

yep. For me to get it to connect i have to clear the cache and data then re input my ip address, and it only stays connected for a bit before it crashes the HM. What browser are you using for the HM UI?
