    I’m on a hot sauce kick these days. Just threw out some Melinda’s black truffle I bought. Have many of the usual suspects but I’m looking for some suggestions. One of my favorites Chuck O recommended is TJ’s Peri Peri.

    Camp Chef Woodwind pro

    The more I read and watch about this it looks like a real contender. I saw one at Bass Pro, I don’t love the botttom grates because they were not stainless but the grill was built like a tank and that smoker box sure looks like a great idea. Anyone have one?

    Lamb on the performer.

    Cut a rack in doubles, much better than the singles I had been doing. Made some chimichurri and asparagus and potatoes, nothing too fancy. Also did a flank steak for myself. Great dinner.

    I’m copying Jeremy Yoder’s recipe and marinating in mirin, soy sauce and gochujang, I picked up a nice cut at Costco and the wife wanted me to try it, so here we go.     Overnight butts on the SmokeFire.

    Did a couple butts on the SmokeFire last night. They came out perfect. One is Oakridge Secret Weapon and the other is Meat Church Gospel with a little Honey Hog.

    Marinated prime sirloin in Japanese bbq sauce.

    Picked up some prime top sirloin from Costco, grilled some up Friday and didn’t care for it too much. Decided to marinade the rest in Bachans Japanese bbq sauce. Couldn’t get to it last night so it was marinated for 2 nights. Well grilled it up this afternoon and it was amazing.
