    Bob, I'm not sure if your asking for a different material other than wood or unhappy with the condition of the wood you currently have. There have been quite a few rehabs posted with photos on the forum that have replaced the wood slats with different types of wood that were stained or varnished...

    Thanks you guys. I have to admit I admired it for sometime afterward. I competed the restore Saturday evening a week ago. I've cooked on it twice since. Amazing how much better it ignites, heats and how quickly it gets up in temperature compared to what I was experiencing with the old burners...
