ISO Door Handle / Latch Replacement for WSM 22.5.

I purchased the Southco 62-30-15 Compression Latch to replace the broken one on my 22.5, but there package does not include instructions on how to assemble it. Does anybody happen to have instructions or a link that might help? Thanks!

ISO Door Handle / Latch Replacement for WSM 22.5.

Thanks. To clarify, I do not have the CB door. I returned it, but still have the OEM door with a broken latch assembly. That's why my WSM sits unused for 2 years. Appreciate the post though!

ISO Door Handle / Latch Replacement for WSM 22.5.

I inadvertently broke the door latch assembly on my WSM 22.5" and have not used my smoker in probably 2 years as a result. [[Moment of Silence, please...]] During the interim I have purchased and returned the Cajun Bandit door as it just didn't "do it" for me and never quite fit...

New Dry Rub for Ribs --- Maybe the Best Yet? (Secret Ingredient....)

You absolutely taste the cinnamon on the ribs but in my experience it was mild--just sort of enhancing the flavors of the other dry ingredients. These are not "candy" ribs or "sweet" ribs by any grasp if that was a concern, and they are not spicy as one might think from the cinnamon. Also, in...

New Dry Rub for Ribs --- Maybe the Best Yet? (Secret Ingredient....)

This past weekend I did two racks of high quality baby backs with a new dry rub recipe I thought I'd try out to see if I liked it. Based on my reaction and the reaction of my family, this combination may be my permanent "go to" dry rub from this point forward. The secret ingredient you ask...

    Help! Cajun Bandit Door Installation?!

I could never get the door latch on the CB door and it fell apart trying to put it back on the original door that came with my 22.5. Owell. I guess I'm ordering the door latch online which will cost me a Zillion $$$. Lesson learned...

To Sous Vide or NOT Sous Vide?

Lew, my concern about the Anova unit are the well-known connectivity problems with using a Droid phone. That is what made me consider getting a cheaper no-frills model....

To Sous Vide or NOT Sous Vide?

My wife asked me for my Xmas list and one thing I mentioned was a Sous Vide system. A good friend of mine runs a successful BBQ company in Austin and he says he Sous Vide's meat all the time. So, what do you think? Is it worth the price of admission? Is it necessary to purchase an...

    Wedding Reception Pulled Pork

Lew, a buddy of mine runs a successful BBQ truck in Austin and he tells me he does Sous Vide all the time but that he has to sear everything when it comes out of the cook or else it looks uncooked. Do you sear your Boston Butt, Briskets, etc. before cooking Sous Vide, after, or at all? I'm...
