Blackstone or cast refurb peoples.....I need advice

You sure can remove the top clean it up well and re-season it. Just like any plain steel or CI cookware. The NG to LP thing likely CAN be done but I honestly know nothing about the Blackstone appliances. However food for thought. I too had been considering something like this. IDK what your bud...

    Whole Chicken in Member's Mark

Might just give this a try. My initial theory was low at first so the protein could absorb as much smoke as possible while it was still soft and lack of better word "absorbent". Rather than wait until the outside was "crusty". Not best choice of words but best I can come up with

A new Weber pellet grill - The Searwood

Yeah, there is one on the market now and can't remember the name that has a little "drawer" on the front to put in some chucks or such.

    Whole Chicken in Member's Mark

The technique worked. Skin was crispy but not quite enough. I think next time I will not wait so long to crank it to 375+. My bird's internal was about 140ish and I think next time I will run it right up to high temp after 60 min on smoke or prior to reaching that 140 to 150 internal. I came...

    Whole Chicken in Member's Mark

It was very good. Since losing the weight I have lost because of this Mounjaro I can barely fit one piece of chicken down. Likely why I am down just shy of 30# now

    Whole Chicken in Member's Mark

So I've got a while chicken in MM today (using it because threat of rain so I can move it easily under garage). Was running on P2 (med temp smoke) about 2 hours (215 to 220 deg), then on high smoke (P1 runs about 250ish) for another 45 min. Bird is up to about 120 avg internal. Would really like...

    Repaint Question

Just know you will never get a home rattle can finish to last as long as the factory finish which is electrostatically applied and baked on.

I’ve Met my Match and it’s a Mouse

FWIW I have had great luck with these. Though I buy a slightly larger size for the chippies. A piece of apple is all I need and it flattens the little critters...

    On Big Z for tonight

Not a scrap left. Was deeeeelish. Daughter was so hungry I could not even rest it all the way but still wonderful. Though I will say, this one came from Costco. They use that blade machine on everything. I prefer the ones from Sam's. I only bought these because, I was at Costco and the day I did...

    On Big Z for tonight

And while Big Z was doing it's thing and making nice aromas I was taking babies for a ride. Wife has not quite figured out her new phone yet so pics not the best. We got her the new Samsung Galaxy V Flip 5. She's not figured out holding it as straight or steady. But she got us anyway. And no...
