Will do, Len ! Thanks for the advice ! Bread-baking is WAY in the future for me, so silicon will probably serve me well for now ! I'm just talking fried chicken, chili, and baked beans for now ! :) Dean...

Cast Iron "Potholders" - Any Recommendations ?

No problem, Matt ! I got a nice pair of welder-type gloves with the cast iron set...I also picked up a 3-pack of welder's gloves, and a "heat-resistant" pair of rubber gloves from Harbor Freight, for cheap...I use those on the WSM and grills, for moving meat around...the rubber ones don't bog...

Cast Iron "Potholders" - Any Recommendations ?

Clint, LOL ! That's EXACTLY what I know is going to happen to me... I like the idea of a silicon mitt...Bed Bath and Beyond has a selection of stuff. My cloth pot holders are pretty raggedy-looking, but I'll keep a few next to the range, as a "reminder", until I buy something else. Thanks...

    22½" Stok Grill Insert

I bought the Stok Quattro gasser in 6/2011, before Home Depot ended their "experiment" with them ! I've been pleased with the grill... Although it looks like crap now, that doesn't bother me...all my grills look like crap, because they sit out in the FL sun ! :) The gasser came with the...

    STOK Cast Iron Grate Review

From the FWIW file : I have the 4 burner STOK gas grill, not the round charcoal one. I would assume the grate material is the same as the round replacement grate y'all are talking about...the inserts certainly look the same. Anyway, here's what the Owner's Manual on my grill says : "...round...

    stok grill

Well, it's been a while since I updated The grilled sprouts weren't as good as I thought they would be, but that's probably more due to "operator error" than anything wrong with the grill. They tasted good, but were a bit "crunchy"...longer grill time, next time ! Done several quick...
