    Mine came out the same way after sitting in the fridge overnight. I called it turkey jello cause I believe there was a lot of gelatin in that carcass. I didn't brown mine just hacked up with a cleaver and into the instant pot. Maybe the browning cooks out the gelatin?

    My Grandfather and Parents owned apartment buildings in Chicago. I did a lot of plumbing repairs and a basin cock wrench is what you need for under sink installs.

    Yea, wall mounted faucets in our climate are kinda iffy if mounted on an exterior wall. Pipes are buried in the wall and your only relying on insulation to keep the pipes from freezing on sub zero days. When I lived in Chicago we had a few apartments that had those. I usually let the water...

    I can do a HH butt on my 18.5" WSM in 5-7 hrs. ( 275-300) Same butt and temp on my 22.5" WSM, takes anywhere from 8-10 hrs. It's just the nature of the beast..

    Just a friendly reminder if your doing the turkey carcass stock. I used my meat cleaver and chunked mine up in the 8 qt instant-pot. A little celery , onion and carrots.
