Weber Genesis Junior Redhead barn find

I agree that it is not a Jr. Spirit 500 sounds right.

I meant the SmokFire, but I actually have a beat up Holland that needs to be converted to LP so that I can give it a try. Never cooked on one.

I always wanted to try one of those. For 100 bucks, I would be tempted, but I have also seen some in much better condition for $250 - $300.

The Holland Grill essentially does overall indirect cooking not altogether unlike most pellet grills that have a heat shield. I think it would shine doing barbecue chicken.

There are a few out there. Someone around me had a still new after 20 years Genesis Silver C that he wanted $650 for. It was for sale for a very long time. I don't know if the seller gave up or finally found a buyer. Really it was a way better grill than anything new you could buy for that amount.

I can only dream of some of the finds you get all the time, Josh! Maybe you need to get a big U-Haul van and load it up with orders from fellow restorers stuck here in the Midwest.

Thanks, Josh. That would be crazy! Anyway, I need to be content to own a previous one-owner XXI that even has a rotisserie and owners manual.

Help me figure out a way to get that XX and I can get you a black Jr. hood!!!!

Yeah, dry rust-free old grills! I think you posted the old Jr. (actually a very first year XX). I thought the XX I did was possibly the only one in the country! I guess there is at least one more. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1897193004095719/?ref=saved&referral_code=null I wish...

My first score of the new season

Yeah, I agree with the finicky tastes some of us have, but they will still look great to a lot of buyers on a flip grill. You can truthfully say they were taken from Weber's top of the line Summit.

The table looks like you might get by with cleaning. You can repaint with a Rustoleum hammered dark gray, but if you can keep the factory finish it is made better than what you can lay down with a rattle can. Maybe just a small touch up here and there? That's a very nice one! Hope you have fun...

Genesis ii S-345 (Night Sear Edition)

I only have done Facebook reluctantly after my wife got tired of grill ads on her page. Thanks for the great idea, @TomRc! It's the heart of tax season, so I can't do much right now, but I will definitely invest more effort into my new "This Old Grill" page...

    Blue/Sidewinder/330/Restoration/Could Go Any Direction

Like this one? I was trying to make this 300 series look more like the current version:

    Blue/Sidewinder/330/Restoration/Could Go Any Direction

I love sidewinders and wish I had room to keep one. But, I think your Option B is the best choice since you have 330s with the sear burner. I think that with a sharp, and uncommon, blue color would make a great package. It will be interesting to see how the black firebox and cabinet sides pairs...

Yes it is true! I bought 4 sets a while back but waiting on 2 that are supposed to be here by Monday. They aren't 304 and maybe not 100% perfect but better than some others I have seen priced way higher. I wouldn't hesitate to use on a flip, and for that matter, I would use them myself! I doubt...

    Pellets

I thought Cabela's pellets are made by Lumberjack?!!. Oh well! I don't have a Cabela's/Bass Pro close to me, but Rural King carries a fair amount of Lumberjack which I have always liked.
