    Weber Parts Deals

Josh, Do you really think so? Those are their "Basics" not sure from what year. I have a set of their current "Precision" ones, and I think they are very, very good. Sure, there are some outrageously expensive ones with rosewood handles and better stainless, but for the price I can happily...

I agree we go off track sometimes, but concerns about safety and buying/selling using online sites is a pertinent topic for grill restorers. I count myself to be blessed in not having anything ever happen to me🙏😇

It is a catch 22 because honest potential buyers are also afraid to come to our houses!

You have seen most of them. Sometimes I dig back pretty far in the crock pot. You have done more in the past year than I have in years. But, like you, I enjoy doing special ones. I will always be a Weber person, but Broilmaster is another great brand still made here in the US. They just can't...

So sad. Those are super well-built cookers. They just look stodgy and not at all stylish and don't hold value. That one looks to have some of the nice extras in that it has the REAL stainless cart and a full set of heavy duty shelves. I did one years ago, with a custom handle that an artist...

    Genesis 1000 Porcelain Drip Tray

Thanks so much, Mark! This gives all of us a good idea of what to expect. The new one is probably as good as we could have asked from a reproduction. I would certainly use on my own grill or maybe on a very fine, higher priced flip grill. Not to split hairs any further, but how do they feel in...

I thought about doing that. His problem is that he is in an obscure location.

    Genesis 1000 Porcelain Drip Tray

My understanding is that they are third-party. Am I wrong? Either way, it would be interesting to see how they compare in weight and thickness of finish to an old original. I know you have a pretty nice old one that I brought you last fall.

    Genesis 1000 Porcelain Drip Tray

Mark, Thanks for taking one for the team and sharing your evaluation. Very glad it is a winner for you and looks like a decent option for a critical part for these old Genesis grills that is getting increasingly scarce as originals are rarer and more often now too far gone. If you can, I would...

    Genesis Jr Restoration

I agree with Bruce that FB could make Marketplace work way better if they wanted to. If I do a search for Weber, the stuff I see should have the word Weber in it at least somewhere...

    Genesis Jr Restoration

It is a shame that FB Marketplace bulldozed everyone else out of the market. OfferUp may not have been perfect but it was leagues ahead of FBM. OfferUp is barely hanging on now where I live.
