Yes they are. Straight forward swap for the bowl, but you might want to update the ash sweep/catcher at the same time.

The Gold series have a double walled layer inside the lid. That piece is built into the lid and not a replacement part. As was mentioned, just remove it and carry on. For 30 bucks, that is a score! Congrats.
