    Char Q Question

I paid $125 for one that had never been used. I think it is a matter of luck and how bad you want one for your collection. To pry mine from my fingers would probably cost $500. The original price for the unit sold in stores was $150.

You are right. I stand corrected.

    2 different models of Q's 3200?

Check out my edited first response. The Genesis is not a grill I have experience with. View this thread for my modified Q3200 implementation.

    2 different models of Q's 3200?

Picture 1.jpg is the Q320 that proceeded the Q3200 shown in picture 2.jpg. The Q320 has a one piece grate, the Q3200 has a split grate. Q320 has piezo igniter, Q3200 has electronic igniter. The grill will easily get up to 500°F and will get good marks on steaks. Limitations on both of these...

    Char Q comes home

I have been watching for a long time and didn’t quite believe it when I saw it. A new never used Weber Char Q. It had already been in Facebook Marketplace for over a week. We agreed on $125. I’m not sure if I’m going to use it or just stare at it like a museum piece.

    Weber Q1200 cart/table ideas?

One thing I like about it is now that I have all the fittings, Modifications like making it 4 foot wide can be done by taking out the shorter pipes and add in longer ones. Then remake the wood surface that now goes around the grill “feet”.

    Weber Q1200 cart/table ideas?

I made something out of structural steel from Lowes for my Q3200. If you want something custom and sturdy that may be an idea. See this link for more info on my creation. No reason why it could not be table based with wheels. The fittings and pipe I used were made by Steel Tek.

    Latest acquisition

Used parts are fine, the rest of the grill is used. I can pretty it up and get $100 for it in the spring/summer. So for I have $4 in it. Larry, you willing to share your source?

    Latest acquisition

I could use some advice on parts sources. I need a gas control knob and igniter kit to bring a Q200 back to life for resale. Least expensive I can find is $35 shipped for the two parts.
