Mine were very tight to remove the burners, but I was able to get a screwdriver down in between the burner and the firebox. I gently worked it back and forth and eventually got them to start moving. Be gentle and they will slide out.

That is kind of what I was thinking, and the owner manual confirms that. I will have to see if I can get a screwdriver on there and see. Thanks!

Can I ask a silly question? I have a similar 3-burner Genesis, but I can't figure out how to get the burners out. They don't have a screw on the two outside ones, but it's some kind of holder. Maybe it was a screw at some point and has corroded. I need to get a good picture and see what...

Could someone who's installed this hinge do me a favor? On a 22.5 WSM, measure how far past the barrel the open lid extends? I'm just curious how far from obstruction on the side or back i would need to be. Thanks for the help. Jeff
