Buckboard Baked Clams

I didn't measure anything, but these were so good, I amazed myself!

1/4 c. parmesan reggiano
1 c. fresh breadcrumbs
2 T. melted unsalted butter
1 t. Greek oregano
1 t. dried thyme
1 t. dried basil
2 cloves garlic, pressed
ground white pepper
kosher salt
Finely chopped buckboard bacon
5 pounds fresh clams on the half shell

Shuck clams and place in baking dish. Mix all ingredients except bacon. Top clams with breadcrumb mixture and press to adhere. Top with chopped bacon.

Bake in a 425 degree oven for about 10 minutes. We ate all five pounds.
