Arkansas > Hot Springs: Stubby's BBQ

In Hot Springs, Stubby's is a good choice for BBQ. Their ribs are thick, moist, fairly tender, and have good flavor. Their Pot'O Beans is excellent and just about a meal by itself. There is plenty of meat in the beans, and it looks like the beans are smoked in the pot in which they're served. Stubby's sauce is one of my favorites, a sweet, vinegary taste with just enough spice to balance it out nicely. When I'm in Hot Springs, I usually make a trip there to pick up a few bottles to bring home.

I recently found a place that sells their sauce online, so I don't have to wait on trips to Hot Springs to restock: http://www.culinarydistrict.co...-Sauce-Stubbys-16-oz

At one time it could be found in the area Kroger stores and Wally Worlds. Haven't looked for it in a while as it hasn't been one of my favorites as a smoker. It does taste much better to me when I don't smoke, but I first encountered it as smoker and still have that memory.
