My son finished college & moved home till he starts grad school in Aug.
He had borrowed my Red Q 220 the last 2 years but had really only cooked burgers & steaks.
Since he's borrowing money & has no frat meal plan he wants to KEEP theQ

We are planning to cook a lot of things on the Q in the next 2 months ( I oversee & he cooks)
Last nite we cooked marinated pork tenderloin & tonite grilled talapia ( I'll get pics tonite)
Suggestions are appreciated!
I used the Q as a tailgating grill to grill burgers, sausage , wings etc. So I'll take any hints or suggestions.

Morning John,

Are you looking for suggestions as what to cook?

Are you looking for suggestions of cookbooks,
(Weber's Big Book of Grilling and Weber's Way to Grill: The Step-by-Step Guide to Expert Grilling)

or a replacement grill that your son will be permanently borrowing?

Be well,

elliot

I have always loved sliced potato's in foil on the grill.
My favorite is with lipton (dry) onion soup mix and lots of garlic and such.
I use a double layer of foil and the inside layer I crinkle it up. This allows the cooking oil to stay in place and the crispy bottom layer doesn't stick.
I cook a good size batch (about 6 potato's) about 25 min and then put the steaks on. I use 6 min and 4 min on the second side if > 3/4 inch. The Q is on medium heat setting.
