Don't laugh, you'll love it!

Sauce:
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar (try to use a high quality)
2 1/2 teaspoons turbinado sugar
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 1/2 lbs fresh strawberries, capped, halved
2 tablespoons turbinado sugar
vanilla yogurt or ice cream
Combine balsamic vinegar, sugar and lemon juice in a small sauce pan. Over medium heat stir until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a low boil intil reduced to aprox. 1/4 cup. Remove from heat and cool completly.
Once mixture is completly cooled, sprinkle strawberries with 2 tablespoons turbinado sugar and drizzle vinegar mixture over berries. Gently toss coating all of the berries, let sit for 1/2 hour stirring a few times.
Add two large dollops of vanilla yogert or 1 large scoop of vanilla ice cream to each of 6 bowls. Top with equal amounts of berries and lightly sprinkle each with a pinch of sugar.
A great way to finish off some pulled pork or brisket.
