I'm in the process of restoring a '99 Performer. I'm going to have to replace the burner assembly and while removing the old rusted burner assembly, discovered that the orfice has been packed full of ash. It still has the 5lb with an OPD and I'm really wanting to keep it. Now, I called Weber customer service about replacing the orfice only, and apparently the orfice and the regulator come together and I can't just replace the orfice. They want $43.00 for the regulator, hose, and orfice. Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative that could be found elsewhere? Better yet, has anyone here switched over to a 20# tank and still have their old regulator, hose, and orfice laying around wanting to sell it? Let me know if you can help.

Thanks,

Jered

If the Burner is bad you can get just that (Part # is 10401). If somehow ash got all the way down to where the Hose connects to the burner and that "orfice" is clogged Why not wash it or run a needle in and out of it? I cant see the hose or regulator going bad.
