Induction burner

Guys,

I have a restuarant grade induction burner and don't know what I might be able to use it for at home. It was made to heat up small skillets for fajitas and such. I don't know if it would be suitable for anything else or if it will only work in short burst such as heating the small skillets. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome Bobby,

You can use it for longer cooking times as well. Keep in mind, the vessel must be of ferrous iron; steel. Copper or aluminum won't work with induction burners. If you need the extra burner; give it a try and see what you think. They're fast, precise and are more efficient than standard electric burners.
