If you live in the Chicagoland area, and haven't been to this event, you should take a drive to Des Plaines and check it out. It's in the parking lot of Rand/River (or is it River/Rand ?) bowling alley, at the NE corner of River road and Rand road in Des Plaines

Non-sanctioned, one day event, which benefits NOAH - National Organization for Albinism and Hypopigmentation.

Contest meats are chicken, ribs, sausage, and pork tenderloin, and an optional chili contest.

i don't have a clue what to do with the sausage category though.

It's a lot of fun Troy. I've seen a lot of variety in sausage. Links, fatties, scotch eggs, etc.

They were up to around 20 teams last time I checked.

Wanted to check this out but I'm out of town that weekend. If plans change, I'm going to come.

They are also apparently short on chili entries
