First, my apologies. I know this was posted about a month or two ago and I can't find it on the fly. I have Daughter's out-of-town wedding on the brain, so I'm brain-dead until mid-September. Do you wonder why brides' mothers cry at the wedding?

Can someone please recommend a good source for dried chiles (need dried green or Anaheim) and Worcestershire powder? Penzey's doesn't carry either.

Thanks!
Rita

World Spice has Worcestershire (and other great exotica) and terrific ajis amarillos--they're orange-yellow (remember the Crayola color?) but absolutely delicious. Click 'Spices and Herbs' for the Worce.

Sweet Freedom has whole 'dry green chilies' which are roasted, peeled then dried. Very tasty. They have powdered jal, NM, and green tabasco. (The link aove will take you to the whole chilies page (scroll down). Click the 'Powders and Flakes' link at the top of that page for same.)

I just now saw this. Thanks for the help, Kevin.

It might take me a while to place my order from World Spice...I'm laughing too hard.
