Performer? Gas Assist?

Since it comes with a chimney and ligher fluid (eeek!) is this a performer or the one that looks like a performer but does not have the gas assist? If it is indeed a performer, this is a great deal and I'll go ahead and try and buy it.

REason I ask here, is the fact this person used lighter fluid and chimney makes me weary of their knowledge of the grill

I don't think it has the gas assist. At least it's missing the 5 gal tank that would be in front of the storage bin
 
I don't think it's a Performer, either. Aside from the missing propane tank, I don't see the controls. I think on these older SS models, the controls are under the flip-up, in front of the char-bin.

Go for it! Gas assist is nice, but not necessary with a chimney.

its an early version of the performer. thats a great deal if yer not really set on the gas option. if that was around here i would have gotten it before wasting time asking about it

Lol, it's nice, but I have a 22.5" Master Touch I picked up not too long ago, so all this would do is a table. So I want to jump into the gas assist model, just for the hell of it, so it'll feel like a real upgrade.

Of course, if I didn't already have a MT, and a WSM, a Ep-320, I'd buy it. It's $30!

i'm looking for an older one without gas and also one that is the 18.5 in model. around here i'd probably have a better chance of hell freezing over. i already know it snows in malibu !
