I grew up 8 miles from the original location and they've expanded in Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa. Franchise operation now but Arnold is where it all started. Great food and good service.
 
Last time I ate at Bandanas in St. Louis it was unremarkable. Service hyped how they cooked the ribs and bbq but the actual food never lived up to it.Now Pappys is a whole different story
 
I can believe that I haven't eaten there in 9 years and it was at the Arnold Restaurant. I was surprised to see that they have franchises.

Bandana's is still very good!
Just had their pulled pork tonight.
Tender, moist, and well smoked, with a great selection of sauces.

We live on the outskirts of beautiful downtown Arnold and have enjoyed their bbq since they first opened.
