rust on bottom rack

Bottom rack has developed a little rust that doesn't want to clean off all the way with wire brushing. Do I need to replace or is this even a concern?

Not a concern. Just scrub it back with steel wool/scotch brite and keep it oiled a little when its not in use.
A little bit of extra Iron wont hurt you.

Yeah,no worries man. Mine started rusting after a too vigorous burn off after a cook. Keep it oiled and brush it off extrawell before using it. HTH

I still have the original rack on my 18" Weber kettle grill, and its over 30 years old. All the nickel plating has long since worn away, and it will rust if I don't keep it clean and oiled. But I just treat it as I would a cast iron frying pan. It looks bad, but it still works fine.
