Thermometer

Anyone try thermopro tp18 instant read? 3 second read. Just curious

no but it looks decent & I'm sure it'd work. I have a couple of the cheap ($12) Taylor thermometers that I still use when I can't find my others. The thermo pop will probably last longer but nearly twice the cost with the ?$5 shipping ($35 total).

I'm not so concerned with read speed, unless it's a bi-metal thermometer, digitals are all about the same to me (not a pro). I can't tell much difference between them including my thermopen....especially since I try to probe around just a little, and since the temp can vary so much in a small area (near bone, closer to the surface etc)
