Hi Jamie, thanks for taking the time for this forum. Do you have a good way to do pork ribs on a Q1200 grill?

Thanks!

Well, of course this is a big departure from the old-school barbecue method, but there is a recipe in Weber's Time to Grill for Foil-Wrapped Spareribs that would work on a Q1200. Essentially what happens is you double wrap each seasoned rack in heavy duty foil and cook them over direct medium heat for about 1-1/4 hours, turning them over once or twice. Then you remove them from the grill, let them cool for about ten minutes, and take them out of the foil. Then you grill the tender racks right on the hot grate to brown them for 5 to 10 minutes. You can brush them with barbecue sauce at this point. They won't win any barbecue competitions, but they will make a nice meal. I hope that helps.

Thanks,
Jamie
