Smoke Day Started Last Night

Smoke Day for me started last night. Got a 12 USDA Choice at Albertsons for $1.47. It went on at 10:30 last night.... Been monitoring and getting close to target temp. Had a weird stall pattern on this brisket...stalled at 190 and went down a few degrees and sat for about 4 hours. Never had that happen that high.... Usually is around 165. Anybody else ever have that happen?
 
That's bizarre. I'd just start checking maybe every 30 minutes for tenderness regardless. I've not had one stall that high. It's usually in the 160 to 170 range.
 
Once or twice it happened to me but both times was a double stall:
1) the regular one round 165F
2) the unspected round 190F.
Both time ended dry.
 
Not sure if I had two stalls or not... I was sleeping and may have missed first stall... Update on brisket. It turned out good. Point was excellent. Flat had good flavor but may have been a little dry. It passed the tear test.
