Just smoked the Competition Ribs recipe from this forum. I am sending this post from heaven, cuz that's where my taste buds have sent me.

Yum, yum, this forum is great. I wanted to leave a positive comment and thanks under the recipe post, but I guess it was so old it was closed.

Yep, I'm a newbie, but a very well fed one. Next time I'm adding cayenne pepper to the honey glaze for a bit more powwwww!
 
Hey mark, glad you enjoyed them, I made them on chrismas, and the were great. the father in law is still talking about them. I think the last step is key, the carmelizing the glaze, it just gives it that little extra that is needed.

Instead of adding hot pepper to the glaze try Larry Wolfes idea of adding a 1/4 cup of Sriracha sauce...smooth, slow-rise, heat
